The actress, 52, choked up as she said MSNBC On Friday, January 10, a friend of his died fire Desolate part of Los Angeles, including the Pacific Palisades area, Malibu, Santa Monica, and the Hollywood Hills.
“I lost a friend, and for our church, it's really tender so I don't think we should talk about it yet,” Garner told the outlet. “I have lost a friend. He did not come out in time.”

“My heart bleeds for my friends,” Garner said. “I mean, I can think of 100 families and 5,000 homes lost there. I can — even (without thinking) — I can just list 100 friends who have lost their homes.”
She added: “I almost feel guilty walking through my house. You know, what can I do? How can I help? What can I offer? What can I give with these hands and these walls and the safety that I have? Is there?
Garner has been rolling up her sleeves to help with wildfire outbreaks, volunteering in a Chef Jose AndresWorld Central Kitchen pop-up in Los Angeles County. They are set up to feed refugees who have been forced to flee their homes due to the fire.
