Macau is set to make a stunning comeback at this year's ITB Berlin from March 4th to 6th.

According to Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) head Helena de Sena Fernandes, this is more than just a showcase of the city's attractions, but an important part of their efforts to diversify its tourism market.

Fernandes acknowledges the challenges of attracting European visitors, particularly in Macau due to the small size and traditional occupations of its tourist partners.

Being present at ITB Berlin is, thus, seen as a necessary part of the strategy to increase internationalization in the tourism sector.

Before appearing at ITB Berlin, MGTO will travel to Dubai, UAE on February 25 and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on February 27, for a series of business-to-business meetings aimed at increasing inflows. middle east
