Park Hyatt Melbourne has announced with a mixture of heartfelt gratitude and celebration that its much-loved canine ambassador Mr. Walker will officially retire on January 17.

The nine-year-old Labrador who joined the hotel in 2017 will have a well-earned retirement.

Aligning with Mr. Walker's transition expert recommendations, guide dogs retire at this age to enjoy a relaxed and happy life.

An iconic pooch

During his remarkable tenure, Mr Walker became a true icon of the Park Hyatt Melbourne, even earning quite a bit. Employee of the Month Award: A testament to his exceptional dedication and charm.

He will continue to work his current schedule, Monday through Friday, 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM, through January 16.

It gives guests and staff a special opportunity to spend time with him, celebrate his extraordinary contributions and create lasting memories
