Exes do not share any children.

They met on Lindsay's season bachelorette Back in 2017, the engagement finally ended and then the wedding in August 2019.

The pair mostly stayed out of the spotlight in the years that followed, making headlines around the time of the divorce news after Lindsay hinted at marital problems during an appearance on The Vial File.

She said at the time that she and Abasolo were living “completely separate lives” because Abasolo usually worked 12-hour days “by himself” while he had “a lot more time” in his line of work.

Without elaborating on the specifics of this latest podcast, Lindsay revealed what “bothered” her “the most” about how Abasolo is acting in the wake of their split.

“On his end, there were things that were said to play into certain stereotypes that really hurt or upset me. … saying things that specifically play into the stereotype of me being an angry black woman,” she said, adding that “a narrative” played out in which she “put a career” over relationships and a family.

“These things are emphatically not true,” insists Lindsay. “Seeing people run with it because it's low-hanging fruit and it fits a certain stereotype, was really hurtful.”
