As Jumeirah's new CEO, Meier will lead Jumeirah's bold plan to double its portfolio by 2030, focus on international expansion and strengthen its position as a global leader in luxury hospitality.
Under his leadership, Jumeirah will continue to set new standards for the industry, build on its strong legacy and reinforce its commitment to providing rich guest experiences rooted in culture and connectivity.
With his extensive industry experience, he was instrumental in guiding Jumeirah through several important milestones and will now lead the next phase of the brand's sustainable growth under its Mission 2030 strategy.

Prior to this latest appointment, Mayer served as Jumeirah's Chief Operating Officer from October 2021 and most recently assumed the role of Interim CEO.
Throughout 2024, he led the company through achieving several milestones, including Jumeirah Thanda Island in Tanzania and Jumeirah Thanda Safari in South Africa, and strengthening the leadership team with several senior appointments, including Jumeirah's entry into Africa with other upcoming launches. .
With a distinguished career spanning decades, Thomas has led operations and global expansion for renowned brands including Raffles.
