For the past 4 years, Corporate America aligned with Biden. Maybe they really believed the progressive message. Maybe they were frightened by the administration's demagoguery on climate, race, gender and pronouns. Who knows? But it's over.
Corporate America is now bent on switching sides.
Just look at Mark Zuckerberg and Meta. He and his company bent over backwards to help Democrats. Zuckerberg gave $400 million to the 2020 election. Facebook banned Donald Trump after the January 6 riots. How's that for free speech? And when someone tried to post unconventional views on COVID, they were censored!

Now a complete opposite. Zuckerberg traveled to Mar-a-Lago, paid for Trump's inauguration, and then brought one New free speech plan modeled on Elon Musk's “X.”. In a video, he says that there has been too much censorship! Think about it, a trillion-dollar company does a 180. The new sheriff clearly worried Zuckerberg, if not terrified.
And then there's DEI, diversity, equity and inclusion, the advanced version of affirmative action. The Biden team pushed it hard. Now, DEI is being eliminated almost across the board.
D The retreat is the latest McDonald's. On Monday, it announced it would abandon specific diversity goals for its top executives. Meritism is making a comeback. A Supreme Court ruling outlawing affirmative action at colleges helped end DEI, but it was Donald Trump who created the court's conservative majority.

Trump held court at Mar-a-Lago shortly after winning the election. The media fell down to kiss the ring. Remember Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski desperately trying to get back on Trump's good side after years of humiliation? And there was Canada's Justin Trudeau, apparently afraid of Trump's tariffs. But it was executive flow Who showed us how much corporate change Trump will bring.
They want to influence the new administration, and they are not afraid to switch sides. They will drop Biden and go with Trump, because he has the White House, the Senate and the House and all the power that goes with it.
